TERMS OF USE

All sales are final. 

No refunds or returns are allowed once a purchase is made, even if you decide you no longer want to use the cover. So please be sure you want a cover before you buy it.

Due to the use of stock images, you may find other covers use similar images in different ways; this is the nature of stock. 

Please credit Bog Wolf Cover Designs as the cover designer in your finished book.

USAGE

You may use the purchased cover on (1) book (though you may include multiple formats, such as ebook and paperback). You may not re-use the cover for separate books* (related or not). 

You are free to use the finished cover for marketing purposes, i.e. on social media posts to sell your book, but you cannot sell merch** that uses the cover design (this is due to stock licensing).  

*If you would like to use the same design (original or modified) for a series, with different titles and/or color grading to make them distinct, you will need to purchase each individual "remake" cover separately (at 50% off the original). 

**If you would like to use the design specifically for selling merchandise, please get in contact with me. It will require purchasing the extended use license for all images used in the design in order to be compliant.

Copyrights

The finalized design of a pre-made cover is copyright Bog Wolf Cover Designs; all stock images are copyrighted by their original creators, and are licensed under a third-party service (such as Depositphotos and Shutterstock, etc.). 

Text Adjustments 

You do not need to have a title/tag line/author name (such as a pen name) ready at time of purchase; once you purchase a pre-made cover, it will be removed from the store (though I reserve the right to include pre-made covers in my portfolio as examples of work) and held for you. I will change the title/author text, and add any additional text or logos, when you are ready to finalize the cover. 

(I reserve the right to refuse any requests for titles/logos/text that contains illegal or inappropriate content, harmful words or phrases, illegal or copyrighted images, hate speech, or slurs.)

 

Alterations to Finalized Covers

There is a limit of one (1) revision on the text/title once finalized that is included in the price -- this includes, but is not limited to, changes to the font color, wording, additional text, or other alterations AFTER the text design has been approved. 

(For example, if you decide the title no longer works after it's been published and you want to re-brand, I'll change the title upon request and that will use up the allotted revision; the same is true if you decide to use a different name. However, I will make an exception if you wish to change the title AND the name at the same time.) 

Any additional change requests after this will incur a $50 fee per requested change, and must be paid up front before deliverables are sent.

Files

You will receive a high-quality JPG and PNG render of your cover once you have approved the finished text. The default dimensions are 1800x2700px (6"x9"); if you'd like a KDP-specific file, please let me know. If you would also like a PDF, that's available on request. 

I do not sell or include any layered or PSD files (due to the terms and licensing of stock images) with the final product. There are no exceptions to this.

If you are purchasing a wrap (only on specifically indicated titles), you will receive the finalized cover as a PDF suitable for major distributors (such as Amazon and Ingramspark) once you have given me the specifics needed to format the cover to the correct size.

AI (generated artwork)

The pre-made covers for sale on Bog Wolf Cover Designs do not include any generative AI images. All pre-made cover designs are made using licensed stock images, overpainting, color correction, photo-manipulation, filters, etc.

The final design is sold only once.

 

Rights of the Artist

Bog Wolf Cover Designs (the "Artist") reserves the right to refuse service to any person or entity, for any reason, upon their discretion. By purchasing a cover or service from Bog Wolf Cover Designs, you ("the User") agree to the terms and conditions outlined above, and to abide by any legal constraints placed upon the User by distributors.

Bog Wolf Cover Designs cannot be held liable for any unauthorized use of the User's work (including but not limited to, text, intellectual property, designs, original artwork used within a product, etc.) by other parties (i.e. pirating). 

Big Wolf Cover Designs is not responsible for any sales (positive or negative) or otherwise marketing metrics by the User of the Product.

Custom Covers

At this time, I do not offer custom covers.
